Membership Page – Join The Party!!

Our strength is in our members, and in the incredible number and variety of Canadians who have joined our ranks. Every member counts, so take a few minutes today to become a member or renew your membership in the Conservative Party of Canada and show your support for our Prime Minister Stephen Harper

Conditions of Membership

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
  • Active support for the founding principles of the Conservative Party of Canada
  • At least 14 years of age

Join or renew today!

1. Download an application form (75 KB pdf), print it, and fill it in by hand. Mail your completed and signed application form (including a cheque, or credit card information) to the Carleton-Mississippi Mills Conservative Association at the address on the application form. Applicants must pay their own membership fees, confirm that they meet the Conditions of Membership above, and their intention to join by signing the application form. DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE MAIL.

2. The easiest option is to apply online at www.conservative.ca using their completely secure website. The national party can process online applications or accept your information over the phone or receive mailed in applications.

3. You can leave a message on our voice mailbox at 613-592-9550 or Contact Us and someone will be happy to return your call to help you with your membership purchase and answer any questions you may have.

Benefits of Membership

  • The right to vote to select the Board of Directors, the Leader of the party, our convention delegates, and our election candidate.
  • The right to seek election to the Board of Directors or become our election candidate.
  • The opportunity to help develop and vote on policy at the local level and to seek election as one of our convention delegates.
  • The opportunity to meet Gordon O’Connor, our Member of Parliament, and other Conservative personalities at local EDA social events
  • Receive periodic newsletters and other communications advising of up-coming EDA events and other important updates

Membership Fees

In order to encourage members to join or renew for longer periods of time, effective June 1, 2007, the Conservative Party of Canada has reduced the purchase price of 5 year memberships from $50 to $35. But memberships can also be purchased on a yearly basis for $10 per year.

Membership Cards

Membership cards are issued by the National Party by mail at the end of the month following the month that the application is received. Following that, please allow up to two weeks for mail delivery. For example, if your membership application is processed by the National Party in Oct 2007, your card will be mailed to you at the end of Nov 2007 for mail delivery in early December.

Membership Inquiries

If you are unsure of your membership status you can call the Conservative Party of Canada National Office toll-free at 1-866-808-8407 (then press “2” to reach membership services directly) or via email at membership@conservative.ca.
