Our Association held our 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Tuesday April 22nd at the Holiday Inn Select in Kanata, located at 101 Kanata Ave. This year our guest speaker was CFRA personality Nick Vandergragt, host of Sunnyside Nick and Nick at Night.
We will also had our MP and Minister of National Revenue, Gordon O’Connor in attendance, along with about 100 Conservative supporters and friends.
It was an excellent event to renew old acquaintences, make new ones, and hear the latest from our MP. Looking forward to the next one, next year …:-)
The CMMCA hosted our first policy forum for members Thursday 15 November 2007 at the Stittsville Legion.
Our second policy forum was held at the Holiday Inn Select in Kanata 17 April 2008. The focus of this forum was crime and legislation.
The next policy session will be held in June – details to follow. We hope to see you there.
Our EDA hosted the Annual General Meeting on Thursday March 27th at 7pm at the Holiday Inn Select in Kanata in Ballrooms B and C. (The Holiday Inn Select is located at 101 Kanata Avenue, at the intersection of Highway 417 and Kanata Avenue – see map below.)
We provided members with an update on how the past year has gone, a fiscal report and elected our Board of Directors for the next year.
