Fireside Chat With MP Gordon O’Connor At The
Harvester House

Mark Your Calendars!!!

The Carleton-Mississippi Mills Conservative Association will be hosting a spaghetti dinner for our MP, the Honourable Gordon O’Connor on Tuesday April 10th, from 6:00 pm to about 8:30pm.

We will be hosting the event at the Harvester House Restaurant, located at 462 Hazeldean Rd. which is the plaza with Kunstadt Sports. A map is included at the end of this post.

Dinner includes spaghetti (or pizza), salad, a soft drink, dessert and coffee or tea and if you have ever been to the Harvester House, you know that it will be delicious. Gordon O’Connor will also give a short talk and there might be a good photo op or two.

The cost of the event is $25 straight up or $20 if you bring a non perishable food item donation. All profits and food will be donated to the Kanata Food Cupboard. There will be no tax receipt issued for this event.

Space is limited so please reserve your spot early by emailing us at conservative@carleton-mississippimills.ca or phoning us at 613-592-9550.
This is a non-partisan event that is open to the public, so bring along a friend!

News Release

Tonight on Mike Duffy Live, there was a speculative statement made by Mr. Duffy pertaining to the possibility of Lew Mackenzie being a replacement for the Honourable Gordon O’Connor should Gordon step down as the Conservative candidate in our riding of Carleton-Mississippi Mills.

At this time, I would like to assure our membership that this is strictly a rumour with no basis in fact. Our EDA held our nomination for candidates last August and running unopposed, Gordon was acclaimed at that time. He remains active with our EDA and you can look forward to seeing him out at many local functions in 2007 and giving inspirational speeches as he did at our recent Annual General Meeting.

Be assured that if and when the time comes for Carleton-Mississippi Mills to seek a new Conservative candidate for nomination, we will be running an open and appropriate nomination process.
